Perhaps if they spent as much time knowing how to build relationships with customers, they would increase their sales.

I can't wait to learn what you ended up buying and where. My guess is the lucky store enticed you to spend more money on the winning pair of boots.

Cheers,
EdenBargainistahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01192938722206095554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6045831539694000111.post-23179252909856000062009-09-29T11:51:20.743-04:002009-09-29T11:51:20.743-04:00You're so right. Stay tuned for a follow-up blog post about the excellent customer service I received in the next store I went to...where I did buy something!TorontoLouisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12674804740038517454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6045831539694000111.post-78386048164035451932009-09-29T11:36:45.341-04:002009-09-29T11:36:45.341-04:00Wow what an incredibly familiar experience Louise....Wow what an incredibly familiar experience Louise. Especially with the "rolling of the eyes" that some customer service reps so readily share. I think Sears needs to take a serious look at both the rep here and the Manager's actions especially with a client who was clearly in the store to buy.

I never go to Sears for anything since the attitude seems (and it's definitely not restricted to the big retail chains) to be that they are doing YOU a favour. As you say - the rants could last all day - the true measure is keeping your money in your wallet and giving someone else the ability to be rewarded for stellar behaviour and service.

Thanks for sharing.Andy Donovanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07501057345435827873noreply@blogger.com
